FRED GANNON ROCKY BAYOU STATE PARK

RVing is, to me, an escape. Sure there are breakdowns, yeah there is poop to deal with but, all in all, getting behind the wheel of our SUV and pulling the Pup all over tarnation gets us away.

It’s the opposite of COVID. We’re free to go where we want and do what we want.

For the last four days we have been enjoying Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park. It has wonderful campsites, great hiking and biking trails and one of the most beautiful bays in which to paddle board.

The fishing is ok, the park clean and the staff gracious.

We had a great time and, more than likely, be back again next year.

Now we head north, back to the cold of St Louis.
